Her fabulous hair stylist was putting the finishing touches on her perfect updo (you know, not too tight and not too loose…just right!) and Jenna looked…really looked at herself in the mirror.  Immediately, her eyes welled up with tears.  She was really seeing herself as a bride for the first time- as Jared’s wife, with a whole new life spanning in front of her.  A role that she has been dreaming about in one way or another for her whole life– even when she was a young child and didn’t exactly love her now husband yet!  She was absolutely beautiful…which might explain why my sweet daughter said “look at the princess!!” when she peeked over my shoulder at the images on my computer as I was editing.  Jenna made a perfect bride for sure, and their wedding day was completely fit for her beauty.

I have known Jenna for almost 11 years since she was just barely a teenager.  She was sweet and kind and giggly and talented, and extremely dedicated to my music program.  I adored her and her extremely special classmates instantly.  I spent 4 years with her (and then more with her family as her brother came through), hours a day in my classroom and extra curriculars.  She was one that was very hard to lose when she graduated–but she has done so much since then and that is when it’s REALLY fun– to see what those young students become!

But her story with Jared began long before, in a family friendship as kids that didn’t turn into love until quite a while later.  It was so fun to see them finally marry in front of all of their loved ones!  There is so much history and time rooted in their relationship, and so many people who have been rooting for them for so long.  And it was just the most beautiful day!! You will instantly know why I loved the look of it all…but I think you will see the emotion and love easily as well.

Loved all this organization! I really might have to purchase these earrings…it’s not weird to buy Kendra Scott bridal collection when I got married nearly 9 years ago right?!
