Oh this beautiful day!  It will be visible in one scroll how lovely everything was, how well put together and how absolutely gorgeous.  I also believe you will be able to see the love and friendship pretty visibly.  But you won’t necessarily know all the sweet moments and laughter that passed, and let me just share that the excitement, joy, and adoration for this beautiful couple was so palpable and clear.  We were wrapped up in the moments from the second we arrived, were welcomed so warmly by Kayt and Travis’ loved ones, and so deeply enjoyed it all!

Kayt and Travis have a beautiful story, one where a friendship came first, and then some convincing on Kayt’s behalf for them to be together, and then a long and beautiful relationship full of many life changes to get them to this day.  They were so ready, and calm, and joyful to be finally saying I Do!  Their whole community was clearly just so excited for them and celebrated them well all day long.  Their wedding day was a day after Kayt’s parents anniversary, something that was mentioned in a couple of ways throughout their day, which added a layer of legacy to this date for them.  Both their pastor and Kayt’s dad during his speech mentioned watching Kayt grow up, and how quickly it has passed, and as a parent nothing gets me more than these moments!  There was so much laughter as Kayt’s cousin and maid of honor read Kayt’s “ideal husband” list from years ago (Kayt, I had one too, don’t worry), and it was so neat to discover that Travis fit very much into what Kayt was looking for so long ago– but also is so much more for her.  It was just a beautiful day all around filled with so many moments that made a big impression on me, and we were so honored to be a part of it!

Kay’t girls were so amazing for her all day long! Kayt, you just made a stunning bride in every way! First look time!!! I just think these two are beautiful together! I definitely have a new favorite wedding color as well- it was just perfect!

Travis’ sweet mama! This may look ordinary…but Kayt’s brother is holding the microphone for her Grandpa, who officiated weddings for years, to be the first to announce Kayt and Travis as husband and wife!! It was so special! I could not love these phtos more! This is my favorite little nook of the Illinois State Fairgrounds! Favorite on the left! So perfect!
