Wedding season is now well under way, and in the middle of a long stretch, this beautiful wedding was just a breath of fresh air!  A gorgeous quiet semi-private outdoor ceremony at a beautiful location, a fun party at a lovely country club, a small bridal party with a close group of friends– we enjoyed it all!

Janet and Aaron are just enjoyable to be around, and it because apparent within moments of joining them in the morning that their closest friends are too!  Sarah, my second shooter (and virtual assistant/editor!), and I were giggling within moments of meeting up with the girls in a flurry of quick banter and jokes in what was clearly a completely effortless friendship between them that made us feel like we had known them for years.  Janet and Aaron’s schedule allowed for ample photo time at multiple locations and we just had so much fun (despite the heat)! But my favorite piece of the day was that the forecast was bad.  All week they were predicting severe storms, and when the wedding is planned outside that is scary.  The morning of there was a huge line 100 miles west.  And yet nothing, not one drop of rain, fell.  It all dissipated, and for a couple that has had quite a history with severe weather, I was so thrilled for them.  And not only that– we had a sunset!  It was a perfect end to a beautiful day for a couple that was so deserving of just that!

First look time! The Panther Creek Country Club made such a beautiful backdrop to these! I just love this quaint little covered bridge! Love this bridal party pose on the left!  I’m not typically a silhouette type of girl (LOVE them but they just aren’t my editing style) but I had to share this gorgeous sky as the clouds finally broke apart for sunset! Janet’s dress was an absolute dream! Janet and Aaron I’m SO happy for you and hope you love these favorites of mine!!!  Full gallery coming soon!
