A vintage theme, a “costume” change as this past performer of mine so lovingly called it, a fun new venue, and seeing a past student of mine marry the love of her life definitely makes for a great day! There just is not a sweeter group than this, and we adored spending Saturday with them. In each part of the day, the love of the community around this couple was so present. Their parents gave sweet and heartfelt toasts and prayers, the bridal party celebrated and cheered and toasted and loved on their friends all day long to make the day perfect, and loved ones traveled from all around to witness this new beginning…or continuation really…of Shelby and Jack.
This wedding was at a newer venue that was converted from an old church building, and it was so neat. I have never photographed anywhere like it, and it put our lighting skills to the test for sure, giving a different look than we are used to but we really enjoyed it! It had a very rustic chic vibe and we had a lot of fun with that! Shelby and Jack planned such an abundance of lovely details (Jack was super involved in the planning and I love that), and it was just such a fun and special day! And we had just the best little portrait location– can’t wait to share!
This is just a good way to start a blog post– such beautiful taste, Shelby! You know I love these Badgley Mischka shoes, Shelby’s something blue!!! These little flapper rompers were the cutest! Married!!! I LOVED how this little corner turned out for pictures! Favorite on the left! And Shelby’s crafty mom (who did SO much for me for so many shows!) made these gorgeous pin bouquets! Other favorite! Loved this sweet cake! Shelby and Jack, I adore you two and am so happy for you!!! I hope you enjoy these favorites!!!
