Class of 2019 Senior Central Illinois Photographer Mackenzy | Class of 2019

Oh my goodness where to begin with this beautiful girl.  When we decided to take on a lot less this year with a new baby, senior sessions were one of the types of sessions we decided not to book. Most of the kids I had taught–which are the seniors I love photographing– had graduated, and it just seemed like the right decision.  But I knew there was a small handful that I would move heaven and earth to photograph any year if need be, and Mac was one of them (and has ended up being my only photographed senior this year!).

Mac is just one of those people that grabbed me from the very first day I met her (though I had seen her perform before she was in my classroom and knew she was super talented).  She is so sweet and friendly and attentive and musically talented (among many other skills)…but what I loved the most was her warmth.  Within moments, you can tell that she cares about everyone she meets, could be a friend to anyone, and genuinely wants to know you, and I am always drawn to people like that!  I continued to get to know her as a director and she was simply the easiest to work with, and so hardworking. But it was definitely her kindness, that warmth, that always kept her on my very favorite list!! I am so incredibly thankful that I got this opportunity to spend a little quality time with her because I have missed her so much since I stopped teaching and directing at school.  Mac– I just would like to think that we be bffs if I was in school with you!

And also?? You are a DREAM for the camera, my dear! LOVE! A friend and mom of a classmate of my kids allowed us to use her beautiful property for these- we are so thankful! Mama and daughter– both beauties! Mac is a super talented softball player, and I loved being able to capture these of her passion! Mac? One more thing. The best is yet to come.  What comes next, my dear, is so good.  I can’t wait to watch you make your magic on it as well!!!

You're in the right place!  As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business!  I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).

I'm so glad you are here!  Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business!  I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).
