This wedding was such an AMAZING beginning to our 2019 season! I was super excited for Whitney+Nic’s wedding ever since their engagement session (or, honestly since I first met with them!). They are engaging, kind, and super down to earth– just really enjoyable people to be around. But they also have great style, and a large army of people who adore them, and it made for the most beautiful day.
Now, I hope Nic doesn’t get mad at me for this…but friends, I have never had a more emotional groom– which led to a super emotional bunch of loved ones too…and it was just so sweet! I know some people are iffy about photos of them in the emotional state so I am mostly only sharing them of Nic in this post ;-), but there are so many sweet moments present in their gallery that I cannot wait for them to get to see. Because if it isn’t a testament of how deeply loved these two are, and how overjoyed people are about them being together, I don’t know what is. But it wasn’t the only proof I saw of it on their wedding day. The toasts were extremely heartfelt, and the relationships between these two and their siblings made me dream of what my 3 will be like in the future, and how well they might love each other.
Whitney spent the morning having fun with her girls, but also attending to her sweet niece (the little flower girl who clearly adores her), and I am not sure I have ever seen a bride of mine working so hard to make sure everyone else was ready and comfortable instead of worrying about themselves! Whitney is selfless and kind, and it was so evident in her behavior as a bride. And one of our portrait locations…well, it will mostly speak for itself. It was just a beautiful day celebrating a truly loved couple– who also truly love each other in a beautiful way! Here are some of my (many!) favorites!
Whitney helping her sweet flower girl get ready! Nic is a pilot (hence the cuff links, and the awesome portrait location!)! Nic and his sweet mama! First look time! You know how I feel about a first look! One of my favorites! Nic’s dad is a pilot, and taught Nic the same amazing skill…and this is their plane!!! I mean…this is pretty cool! Favorite!! Husband and wife!! I was absolutely blown away by the florals by Bev’s Baskets & Bows!! I mean…WOW!! Of course we had to grab a few just married shots!!! They had SUCH a fun and lively dance floor!! But I somehow FORGOT my favorite signature shot with my bride!! I’m so sad, Whitney!
Regardless- Whitney and Nic, we are SO happy for you guys and know you will have such a beautiful marriage!! More soon!!
