Sometimes everything just comes together to make the perfect situation for photos…and this was one of those, though might be surprised that I said that once you see that an umbrella was needed for so many of them! But truly…a sweet couple who were so natural and loving together who I instantly “clicked” with, my first engagement session in a few months (between winter and Covid!), and locations that fared beautifully in an almost fog-like rain…it was truly a beautiful (although wet!) evening!
These two met and got engaged both at the Old State Capitol, so of course, we had to begin here! Caleb told me that he knew Ashton was into him back when they first met, both while working in jobs around the area, because she would always give him “that look”, and it is the same way she looks at him now! They are so connected with each other, and always laughing together, which makes them fun to photograph– but also makes me so confident that they will have such a fun and lovely life together! They were so happy to run around in the rain with me, and didn’t panic a single bit when it started, and that was just another sign that I absolutely adored them! They are planning a late 2022 wedding I know it is going to be such a beautiful meaningful day! I can’t wait to share these– Meet Caleb and Ashton!!
Their outfits were PERFECT for this location! Favorite!! They totally rocked that umbrella! And more favorites… Some of my new favorite ring shots came from this session! Caleb and Ashton, I totally LOVED meeting you guys– thank you SO much for asking me to do this session for you! Your full gallery is coming SOON!
