SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS FALL ENGAGEMENT AIRPORT PHOTOS Peter + Claire | Engaged

Oh I loved this engagement session SO SO much!!!  I knew from talking to Claire and Peter before their engagement session that I was going to adore them but seeing them interact together in person amplified it so much!!  They are both kind and sweet and warm, and so easy to talk to.  Because we had a pretty cool and epic location switch in the middle of their session, I got a pretty good view at their interactions with both each other and others (Peter’s friend was there as the owner of the plane you will see!), and what I noticed is how intentionally each of them care for others.  Peter took great care with Claire as she was maneuvering around the plane, and was so attentive to her safety and comfort at all times.  And Claire clearly is just wonderful in front of the camera- but always wanted to make sure that Peter was also comfortable and happy with the whole session.  It was truly beautiful to see, and I can’t WAIT to see them interact with a larger group of friends and family next year!  These two met through activities at their college church, and will marry in that same building.  I honestly could see God’s love and joy in them just even in my few hours with them, and know it carries into their whole lives.  But especially how they are together as a couple!  It is so special, and I just loved this session so much!  Meet Claire and Peter!!

Peter is a pilot (and an aerospace engineer), and has spent quite a few hours clocking flying time in this beautiful plane!  I was so excited when they mentioned this interest for their engagement session– and Peter made it all happen!  And it turned out to be such a favorite creative session for me- I love all these photos so much! So many favorites! My top goal for photos is for them to look like real life so I don’t do a lot of silhouettes…but sometimes in an epic situation I still love them– and this was definitely one of those times! I LOVE this! Claire and Peter, I loved meeting so much and I cannot WAIT for your wedding day!  Full gallery coming soon!!

You're in the right place!  As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business!  I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).

I'm so glad you are here!  Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business!  I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).
