Gosh I’ve been excited about this wedding day for a long time.  You see, Kaylee and Colt’s engagement session was at the end of fall last year, out of town, the night before we moved into our forever home.  And I will never forget any of it.  It was on Kaylee’s family farm, it was crisp and beautiful and the country was alive with color.  It had some of the most beautiful scenery ever to me, and these two are just so special together.  But honestly, as much as I loved them then, it doesn’t compare to how I felt about them on their wedding day.  They are charming, sweet, funny, and loving…together, individually, and as a whole with everyone they love most.

Multiple people mentioned throughout the day that there are some loved ones gone far too soon in Heaven who must have had their hand in this pairing…a literal match made in Heaven.  And honestly, they are just so right together.  Their story, their love, the way that they care about each other and that their lives are intertwined…it is just the beautiful beginning to what I know will be an incredible lifelong love story.  Fall was alive at this session (similarly to their engagement session!) and it was just such a GORGEOUS heart filled day!

First look with dad…love them so much! Look at these beauties and this color in the trees! I loved it so much!! Colt gave such creative groomsmen gifts, including these hats!  His guys LOVED them! I couldn’t decide if I loved the leaves or the light more!  I choose both! I LOVED these speeches…they were so great!  Also I have to share…Kaylee and Colt had their awesome DJ read the story of how they met and fell in love before their first dance and it was honestly so special and fun!  It isn’t something I see often at weddings and I highly recommend it- it was just so fun and I think shared details that even their loved ones might not have known! 3 of my #jillgumbrides at this wedding!  I love these ladies so much!
