I‘m SO excited to share my NEW WEBSITE today!!! It is all refreshed, renewed, and reflecting JGP in 2022 and I can’t wait for you to see it! This is round 3 of a major rebrand, and it is a project I absolutely LOVE when it feels like time to do (even though it’s a ton of work– 6 months of work this time!).
As a part of my first major rebrand (which was almost 7 years ago!!), I shared this:
This is still true, and why I have spent months pouring into this major rebrand! Like when I rebranded 7 years ago, and adjusted things again 5 years ago, I want my website (my storefront) to fully reflect where my business is today…and this new website 100% does that! I have so many favorite pages– but the Weddings page, the Photography Education pages (click HERE for photographer education and HERE for mom/hobby education), and the Meet Jill pages are among my favorites! Also, I wanted to share that since 85% of my viewers are viewing from their phones ( ..are you now??), make sure to check out the desktop version too- there are some AMAZING features that you can really only see on desktop, especially on the Meet Jill page!)
If you want a little trip down memory lane…THIS POST launched my last major rebrand! My site had changed and grown up quite a bit since that major rebrand before this new major change, but is so fun to see where my roots grew from! If you look really close, you will still see some glimpses from these sneak peeks in my current site (and of course, my never-ending love of blush pink remains strong!).
I need to take a minute to give a HUGE thank you to my dear friend and fellow photographer Kristin Darling. She was one of my mastermind sisters last year, and created my new logos– I am BLOWN away by the many talents she has, and so so beyond thankful. Kristin is an absolute gem of a human being, and the go-to educator for using flash for natural looking photos– make sure to check her out! I also have to thank my amazing virtual assistant Sarah for helping me go through lots of design ideas and concepts as I redesigned this site. I actually love website design, and it was such a fun project!
I also wanted to share a quick surprise tip for newer photographers who are looking at launching their first website. If I could go back, I’m not sure I would recommend others to pay a ton of money for a custom website at the time that I did. I don’t think it is needed with how many beautiful templates you can get and fully customize, especially if you use a website host like Showit, which is my platform of choice (and I 100% recommend it– if you are interested in trying Showit, use the code JILLGUM10 for 10% off your first year!). If I were in my first few years of business now, I would start with a template, customize away, and maybe go custom site further into your business when you really know where you are headed! My site now IS a totally custom site, using my last built-from-scratch site as a template to modify for this one, and I absolutely love it– but you can do so so much with a little knowledge and a beautiful template! I also love to help photographers with this in coaching sessions– so if you already use Showit and want help customizing, reach out!

You're in the right place! As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business! I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).
I'm so glad you are here! Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business! I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).
