I could post so many images of this family from the past 3 years since they began having babies, and so many memories from the past 9 that I have known them. I have gotten to see so many milestones and gotten to know them so well. One of the things that I think is most fun about the E family is that they live where they grew up- with both of their sets of parents- all in (approximately) one place. Many of their friends from childhood are still here too. And that is one of the things that is so special- when I mention the 9 years they have been a huge part of my life, and feel some pride at that, I have to remember that many of the people reading this, who have become a part of my life through them and my old school, are looking at closer to 25 years of friendship with them. It is amazing what staying in your home town can do for relationships, and the relationships these 4 have with their friends and family because of that proximity is something I will always be jealous of! Meet the E family:
Hillary, the older sister, is not a huge fan of the camera. Or of people, sometimes. But- Hillary and I have bonded during the last year over our mutual love for my boy. And I adore her. She is spunky, and spicy, and free willed, and beautiful. On the right is her built in little BFF, Natalie. She is a quite different than her sister in personality- but they look so so much alike!Amanda- you are beautiful! I have to take a moment here. I initially knew this family because I worked with Eric, the dad. We put on many shows together with 2 other close friends, and I will always treasure those friendships so dearly because they were such a big part of what I LOVED about RHS! But in becoming mothers, near the same time, and then stay at home moms, Amanda has become such a dear and needed friend in my life. I say needed yes because she and her girls entertain me and my babies each week during playdates! But much more, her friendship. Something happens when you experience motherhood and raising children together, and it is one of life’s greatest gifts. She gets me. 🙂Oh Hilly!!Those curls!!E family- thanks for letting me photograph you, and even MORE for your friendship!! We love you guys so much!
