She walked up to the mic that had been occupied by a good friend who had been like a brother to the groom and cleared her throat, clearly a little nervous but super composed.  She spoke of her little brother and how proud she was of the man he was, and how much she loved him and respected him.  She said so many kind things about this man who was marrying the love of his life, and it represented the sort of relationship anyone wants their kids to have.  And then she started talking about Leigh Ann, and I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the house (at least I know mine weren’t!).  She talked about how Leigh Ann and how the thing she loved most about Leigh Ann is that she spends her life bringing joy and beauty to the world.  In many different arenas, Leigh Ann takes what is ordinary and gives her talent and creativity and heart to giving it new life, new beauty, and new purpose.  Old furniture, craft projects, her client’s hair, and also, I suspect, pretty much everyone she comes into contact with.  Leigh Ann just radiates beauty and defines it in an inner and outer way.  I was so moved by this description of her because it put into words so well what I have gotten to know about her over just the last few months, and I am just not sure there is a much nicer way to describe a person.

Leigh Ann and Cyrus’ engagement session was just a couple of months ago, and that was the first time I met them.  But I was completely wrapped up immediately in the way they love each other.  They are gentle and kind with each other, but also carefee and fun.  And they look at each other like they going to be in love every moment of the rest of their lives.  Not just love each other or choosing to just stay together…but extremely in love.  And I just love that! They got married in Ohio at a beautiful destination wedding venue called The Marmalade Lily that I just loved…and if you follow me regularly at all, you will recognize the countless reasons why! I cannot rave enough about this dress…and it wasn’t even designed as a wedding dress!!!  But it was PERFECTION! Beautiful Leigh Ann!!!
First look! Favorite! This barn! I want to take it EVERYWHERE with me! Beauties!!! I haven’t even gotten to talk about the Christmas themes tied through this wedding…but the twinkling lights everywhere gave me all the heart eyes!! This moment was during that beautiful speech, and I think it came as a surprise to both the bride and groom! These details were honestly breathtaking! Time for a few married portraits! Loved this stolen moment right before intros!! I just really love these next two moments so much I had to share!
