Among some of the most heartfelt speeches, one statement stuck out to me in a way I couldn’t forget. Their dear friend told all of their loved ones that they are the type of people who are always present when you spend time with them– always focusing on you, looking you in the eye, engaging 100%. I couldn’t stop thinking about it because there are handful of friends in my life like that, and they are the most life giving people I know. People who make you feel so loved and cared for, people who care deeply about your experience and time spent with them. Robyn and Brenden are 100% those people.
Their wedding day was the rainiest day I have ever shot (and maybe lived through). And not just rain…sideways, wind-blown torrential rain for the entire day with no break. I wasn’t sure if I was going to mention that here because honestly, by the end of their wedding day, I’m guessing they were just tired of hearing about the terrible weather. But honestly, I CAN’T not mention it. Because regardless of the less than ideal weather and all the ways it changed their plans, these two spent their whole day as happy as could be, calm and not worried, caring about what type of time everyone else was having, ensuring that it wasn’t just their happiest day but a wonderful day for everyone that would be remembered.
And I know it will! It was filled with so much warmth and joy, just like Robyn and Brenden…just like I know their marriage will be. And it was just so beautiful. I can’t wait to share my favorites!
Robyn is the definition of timeless beauty here!! I HAVE to take a moment to talk about the amazing Hannah Graham, who planned this whole event…and then moved everything to make it all happen in doors like a complete rockstar. You're in the right place! As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business! I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).
I'm so glad you are here! Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business! I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).
