Sometimes an opportunity comes up that is so special you just cannot say no and then are excited for weeks until it happens…and this was one of those for me.  I have gotten to photograph Kyndell a few times this year and creatively enjoyed every one of them so much.  But when her long term boyfriend, Ryan, reached out about photos for his surprise proposal to Kyndell…it was next level excitement over here.  Ryan has moved out of state, and working out the details and plans was definitely a challenge.  In addition, there was a last minute change that had us both (but mainly him!) scrambling…but it all worked out so very perfectly (and of course, Kyndell said yes!).

Ryan and I decided that I would ask Kyndell to do a creative fall photo shoot with me for her clothing boutique and just for fun– so we started with some fashion photos.

I knew Ryan would be arriving soon…by BOAT!  We checked out the water for a bit…and soon he came around! I quickly went into get-Kyndell-down-to-the-water-to-see-him mode then! I will not forget these moments, nor how lucky I was to get to witness it behind my lens. There were high emotions that returned later, and it was such an extremely beautiful and tender moment!  Kyndell was surprised, thrilled, and it was so perfect!  Of course, then we had to have an outfit change and take some just engaged photos! Kyndell’s ring is absolutely one of a kind (literally), and features a Salt and Pepper diamond.  It is literally stunning. A final surprise from Ryan of a deeply personal touch inside the ring box caused new emotions from them both, and it was a beautiful way to end the evening.  Kyndell and Ryan, I’m SO SO thrilled for you two and will be sending you your full gallery soon!  CONGRATULATIONS!
