I‘m SO excited to share this post…because before Shelby and Jack were parents at a newborn session I photographed, they were one of my couples…and before Shelby was one of my brides, she was one of my beloved teacher’s aides, one of my most gifted sopranos, and one of my students. I spent SO MUCH TIME with her over the 4 years that she was a student in my classroom– so getting to see these beautiful “next steps”…these new blessings in the life she has created for herself…is such an enormous joy to me. And seeing Shelby as a mama…truly so special. With her new baby boy in her arms, she was calm, cool, collected, and such a natural. And when you’ve known someone since they were a 14 year old Freshmen, that is such a treat to see. I have always adored her, loved her and Jack together, and just am so excited for them and all that is to come in this new part of their lives! And their new little star to their story? He is absolutely precious. Sweet, super alert, and super cute– he was a blast to photograph!
