Kyndell and Ryan’s day was long awaited, specifically and incredibly intentionally planned, and beautifully meaningful.  One of my favorite people, Lydia, was Kyndell’s videographer, and she told her second the EXACT truth: “Nothing about this wedding is random…every detail matters”, and it couldn’t be more true.  Of course, EVERY couple chooses all their details, but Kyndell and Ryan chose details with meaning, and decor that represents them at every turn, and it made the day extra meaningful.  Kyndell and Ryan live life in a beautiful way that includes “go big or go home” at the core of their choices, and it is really something that is beautiful to see.  They have been together for a long, long time so the people in their lives are truly a part of BOTH of them, and they love each other and their friends and family in a big, serious way.  That was the pattern through everything– their loyalty to each other and their loved ones, their desire to turn life into something beautiful even when it’s hard, and their ability to see each other through everything.  I truly have LOVED my time with these 2 over the last couple of years and am sad that they now live in Texas– but I know we will see each other again soon!  Here are some of my many, MANY favorites! These first looks were SO touching.

Kyndell and Ryan specifically designed everything about what everyone was wearing, and I LOVED the way this all came together visually SO SO much!!

I honestly forget it even rained (poured) this day until I saw this photo because every other part of the day overshadowed hours of pouring rain– which really says something!Kyndell and Ryan and their 2 absolute best friends! So happy to have grabbed this!
I just truly loved all these photos so so much. I just knew we had to do something special in this space, and I can honestly say I have never loved nighttime with flash photos more than these! CONGRATS AGAIN, you two! I am OVERJOYED for you both!

I'm Jill, a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Chicago and Central Illinois, and available world wide! I'm also a photography educator, wife to my favorite person on the planet, mama to 3 amazing kids and an energetic Aussie, and obsessed with statement jewelry and all desserts (especially fruit pies!).

As a past high school teacher, I have a major heart for education. After going full time in my business, I have built a business I love that gives me an almost 6 figure salary and allows me to be home part time with my kids.  I dream for you to run a business that enhances your life and lights you up, and I believe I can help you learn how to do it with a little hustle and a lot of heart!

Hello Friend!

You're in the right place!  As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business!  I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).

I'm so glad you are here!  Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business!  I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).
