If you’re on my email list, then you got in on the secret a little early–but if you just follow along here then get ready for some BIG news about JGP!!

With all 3 of my kids in the midst of school activities and extracurriculars, more and more of my evenings are being taken up with ball games, gymnastics practice, lessons, and homework!  While I LOVE this season of life and love seeing them thrive in these activities, it has become more and more difficult to schedule all the family portrait sessions throughout the year that I want to due to these commitments.  After working towards a solution for a few years, I have found one…and her name is Sarah!

If you follow me closely online, you have most likely heard about her before– she has been my assistant for 6 years and works in every part of my business. She has also been second shooting for me at weddings for the past 3 years (and shooting sessions of her own before that!), and is a wonderful photographer! Sarah is now JGP’s main portrait photographer (also called JGP’s associate photographer) for regularly scheduled sessions, extended family sessions, and all new clients. Sarah and I share the same style of sessions and photos because she learned every part of my system–so if you end up booking with Sarah, the session will feel very similar, and the final product will look identical!

I will still be photographing all newborn sessions, anniversary sessions, all sessions that were already scheduled for 2022 (including Baby’s First Year sessions), and seasonal mini-sessions for returning clients only.

My favorite part about this is that while Sarah will photograph some of the sessions, I will still keep in contact with all my clients as the main communicator and editor, and also will have creative control over the entire look– so your photos will still look and feel like they always have as Jill Gum Families!

This also means that JGP can offer many more session openings throughout the year, as well as extended family sessions again!!

And now, booking your portrait session will be easier than EVER!! We are so excited to be releasing session times for ALL portrait sessions from late March through September TODAY! We have never released session dates for such a large stretch of the year at once before, but we can now and I love the idea of giving YOU the flexibility to choose what works best for you so far in advance (because as the mom of getting-older kids in lots of activities, sometimes a little extra advanced planning is GREAT!).  Click HERE to access the session sign up calendar!!
