CENTRAL ILLINOIS EARLY FALL URBAN ENGAGEMENT SESSION Ossie + JC | Promised
Well this is one that is SUPER fun for me to share! I have shot a few very untraditional engagement sessions in my day (one in a cross fit gym, one at an airport, one at a different gym) and have DEEPLY enjoyed the creativity of each of them, and this one was absolutely the same! Ossie reached out right after they booked their wedding with me to ask if I would possibly be willing to shoot in JC’s shop, and I was all too happy to say yes! Like the other less traditional locations, not only would it be creatively interesting, but it is so very personal to them, as a place they love and spend a lot of time at. I enjoyed my time with these two SO much and would have loved it no matter where we went. They are warm, kind, super personable, and just super into each other, all of which made this session super special! After the shop, they wanted to do the next part of their session outside the restaurant where they had their first date, which was also super fun. I truly cannot wait for their wedding, to meet Ossie’s girls and see them with JC, and for them to become an official family, even though they very much already are.
