SPRINGFIELD IL ELEGANT ABRAHAM LINCOLN MUSEUM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY Jim + Nini | Married

Sincere and genuine.  I cannot think of 2 words to better describe this beautiful wedding day, or Nini and Jim (and their loved ones for that matter).  Their entire wedding day just oozed with sincerity, joy, and the deep love that forms between two people when they truly share every part of their lives together, and deeply engage their families, traditions, and cultures in the process. When Nini’s little sister began her speech, she said that there wasn’t anything she could say about Nini and Jim that everyone there didn’t already know, and she was so right.  Within moments of meeting them each, you just know how wonderful they are.  And when you are with them, you know how seriously they take life and each other, and yet how easy it is for them to share their joy and happiness with each other and those around them.

Spending the day watching them care for each other and their families through my lens was truly breath taking.  Jim has spent so much time learning and becoming involved in Nini’s cultural traditions, and she in his.  Their families clearly have formed such a deep respect for each other and for the two of them, and their loved ones traveled across countries and oceans to see them say their most important vows.  And let me just say, this group knew how to celebrate and have fun!!

When it was time for us to head out at the end of the night, Nini and Jim thanked me for being a part of their journey.  It is precisely how I feel about them.  Here are some of my many many favorites from their beautiful day. These lifelong friends were definitely #squadgoals!!! We only had about 15 minutes to take these photos, and it might be one of my favorite 15 minutes of wedding history! I have so many favorites! This is definitely one of those favorites! The Abraham Lincoln Museum is absolutely a Springfield venue among  the best! Nini had a beautiful outfit change to a traditional Chinese dress at the end – it was so beautiful!! Nini and Jim, I wish you so much joy and love and adventure and contentment in your marriage, and I know you will find it all.  You are two of the warmest, kindest people that I know and it was truly my honor!!

You're in the right place!  As a past high school teacher, educating others is my life's work and a HUGE part of my business!  I have been teaching moms and hobbyists how to use their camera from first purchasing it all the way to coaching them into businesses of their own, and I'd love to help you as well, wherever you are (and whatever camera you have!).

I'm so glad you are here!  Teaching Photographers and other small business owners how to run more joyful, successful, and profitable businesses is one of my favorite parts of my business!  I specialize in working with photographers to make their goals a reality (or figure out what their goals should be in the first place!).
